Dr. Kenneth W. Gray

Kenneth W. Gray M.D. was born and raised in Indianapolis, Indiana, attended undergraduate at Indiana University, Graduate School at Indiana University Department of Microbiology.
 
Dr. Ken Gray received his Medical Doctorate at Indiana University School of Medicine, and completed his Orthopedic Surgery Residency at Lutheran Hospital of Indiana (Fort Wayne, Indiana) Approved Orthopedic Residency. where he received specialty training in hand, feet, pediatrics, sports medicine, and arthroscopic and joint reconstruction surgery.
 
Dr. Gray has been with the practice since Feb. 1984, continuously providing orthopedic care to the New River Valley Communities for over 38 years.
Dr. Gray has been and remains active in the local community professionally, and with his children and grandchildren, also active members of the community.

For Students

Since 1984, Dr. Gray, from a family of educators, has been honored to pass on knowledge and experience to the community and to students and future health care providers.
 
Dr. Gray and the Radford Orthopedic Center have students and interns from local High schools, Governor’s School, Nursing, Athletic Training, Biomedical Engineering, Premedical, Medical School, Graduate Medical Education from Virginia Tech, Radford University, New River Community College, Wytheville Nursing Program, Edward Via School of Osteopathic Medicine, West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine, Lewis Gale Graduate Medical Education, and others.
 
Dr. Gray is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medical Specialties for the Edward Via School of Osteopathic Medicine in Blacksburg VA. 4th Year /Students from VCOM have Orthopedic Rotations at ROC.
 
Dr. Gray is also a clinical preceptor for interns and residents studying at the Lewis Gale Hospital Montgomery Graduate Medical Education Program. Resident physicians, primarily family practice, study orthopedics with Dr. Gray at the Radford Orthopedic Center.
 
It has been especially rewarding to have many join our local communities to work and raise their families.

Welcome to Our Practice Family

We have been helping patients from Southwestern Virginia, Virginia, West Virginia, North Carolina and elsewhere for many years, and deeply appreciate the friends that we have made, their loyalty, and their continued support. We welcome others to our orthopedic family, and will continue to try to make the care we provide the safest, most efficient, most effective, and most enjoyable experience one can have with a broken part.
